I like Brandy's writing....she just needs better producers. It was so refreshing to hear her on a pop beat with Ariana's TBIM

but yeah...she's never letting go of DJ Camper, Frank or Sikora so there really is no point. It's tired.

Brandy pen game is nice, she should do it more actually. She helped write her #1 hits like The Boy is Mine & Love Again. She just needs the right producer.

Ya'll so quick to point out what Brandy isn't doing, when it's artists that haven't fed their fans in years, hell close to decades.

So regardless of whether it was up to y'alls Standards, Brandy gave us an album in 2020 & an album in 2023, only 3 years apart which is better than the 4+ year breaks that everybody used to complain about!! Not to mention getting acting project in-between!

And this is why you can't please negros, really people as a whole. So I don't blame Brandy for stopping trying to people please & do what makes her happy! Even Beyonce has been expressing lately less of the desire to "prove herself to people" and "unsubscribing from the 'formula of a pop-star'".

The cycle of an artist follows the cycle of LIFE...which ultimately leads within. Cause everything else is unsustainable as we grow!

Has anybody EVER thought how DRAINING it is for an Artist to GIVE "their LOVE, their BLOOD, their Sweat, & their time (Brandy, Freedom Rings)" all for their Success to Continually Dwindle project after project?!?! All the while their Talent is just as GOoD, & even Better?! DISHEARTENING for BRAN to say the least, I'm sure...That's when a Change of Perspective becomes Crucial...

to one's Happiness! Some of the BEST things she's done with her Instrument have come after her "Commercial Peak". And that's when you realize so much more goes into "Success (Commercial Success)" and begin to appreciate other Successes... like the Success of Mastery of One of the Most BEAUTIFUL VOICES Human Ears have EVER been Blessed by! And the Success of A FULL & COMPLETE Artistic Expression in A Body of Work that'll last FOREVER !

I for One am Grateful for ALL The Music Brandy's "LOVE, BLOOD, Sweat, & time (Brandy, Freedom Rings)" has produced! Including B7, LOVE me some Abstract/Eclectic R&B Brandy that includes Afrodisiac , & Christmas With Brandy which has some Timeless Music on it! Hell, Christmas Party For Two takes me to HEAVEN... EVERY (Clap) Single (Clap) Time!!!
