It's funny that their tones are so similar but the difference is Krista sings the way Sy'rai would sing if Brandy had been as tough on her as Sonja was.

Maybe at the most she could learn to project her voice better but it's probably gonna stay super light and soft until she gets older maybe in her 30s or 40s when she gets some natural bass to it

I feel like its the brandy monica curse all over again but brandy actually laid monica out on that original tbim  our ears arent trained to hear lighter tones in the same way

syrai has the harmonies has the runs and has the brandyisms but her adopting brandys style is not beneficial for her
they are two different artists I realize she is now a fan of brandy outside of her being her mom but chill

my guess is rais voice will slowly evolve the same way brand did but she hasn't put out anything solid to mark those times
 vocally shes james fauntleroys daughter  and that ain't it but we work with what we got

willow smith had issues with diction and properly enunciating her vowels but she switched to a genre that complimented it so she doesn't have to improve it and its always an artistic choice

syrai needs her own lane
she doesn't need to belt but I'm sure she can if she needed to
I don't think her environment fosters pushing herself vocally
