She is just
a celebrity. Let her live and figure it out. She smokes weed and drinks. Now what else is going on?
When you are going into church and preaching you are held at a high standard that just a normal member.
which is the problem. they are human beings too. God uses imperfect vessels all the time, its literally in the bible.
Being imperfect and bring a drunk are too different things. Black churches have to stop perceiving the level of anointing based on the level of vocal talent. People can have conviction but that does not mean they should lead people in worship. No one would listen to a 300 lb Dietician and no one would listen to ministers who get arrested for public intoxication.
they are not different. suffering from alcoholism IS the imperfection. the level of annointing is based on the ability to bring people to God, and many people do that through song. Her getting arrested doesn'tchange the people shes brought to God. and yes, people would follow a 300 lb dietician if they still had proven results. Just because the vessel doesn't meet your standard of judment, doesn't take away from their gift/talent/annointing etc. Judging at all goes directly against the teachings in the first place. It also says let he who is without sin cast the first stone. so the only commentary any Christian should be giving rn is thoughts n prayers tbqfh
