The song is both pro black and pro her life choices.
I think some find it hard to take it seriously from a girl that got a nose job and wears blond weave while lightening her skin in advertisements.
But you can tell she embraced her blackness so much more since being with JZ and that's a good thing. The song sends a good message that she's proud of her baby's hair, etc and responding to the mainly black audience that has been talking shit about it.
