I want her to own that she was a lot to deal with in the '90s (rightfully so)... there are so many stories about Brandy's attitude and personality back then... I want to hear it from her mouth on why she acted the way she did and how impacted her relationships

She proab was but people put too much weight on that....Bran was most popular from 14-23...who wouldn't be a bitch while being young, immature, overworked, rich and trying to navigate this beast of a business.

I'm more curious about her being the HEAD DOCTOR

well that's not how memoirs are promoted. They're always announced way in advance and then you get little excerpts from the book in between & then the promo schedule. This isn't a studio album

Anyway... I just hope Brandy is being transparent about her life. I personally am really interested in the last 12 or so where she's become a recluse, her health scares, that period when she was held hostage by her label for 8 years, 2016-2018 era when she was a complete mess etc. like what was all that about?

Also... would like to know the complexities of her relationships with Sy'Rai and her mother

I just hope it isn't the same retelling of things she's been saying for 15 years. Thea hating her, harping TOO much on the accident again (I know it will be mentioned), etc basically mess that was on her behind the music or subsequent interviews.

I'm sure she has a lot to talk about

There is a sort of vindication that can happen for her if she really goes there to discuss onset dynamics between her castmates, her relationships that ended in tumult, the controversial lie, Whitney, her mental health status, she and Monica's dynamics, etc. 

This can be so inspirational for us fans and has potential to reach so many people who don't really know who Brandy is.

Her story is a powerful and I'm glad she's telling it through this medium. No one will be able to use the actual truth against her because she's owned it, healed and chose to be fully vulnerable! October 7th can't arrive sooner.

i think you make a great point but vindication is only possible if the roles she played in these situations actually call for vindication. and i think people need to get comfortable with the possibility that maybe they weren't. but i do think theres a RESPECT that could be earned by keeping it 100%. she's human, we be fucking up, people can relate to that. but if you trynna sugar-coat and side-step, ppl can pick up on that and don't use.

Hopefully Bran tells her story in a way that makes the book a good foundation for a movie. She doesn't need that now, but it would be great down the road.

When a company hires someone, they conduct a number of interviews to determine who's the best fit.

I wonder if Brandy and her team does the same? This is no shade to Gerrick, but I can't help but question the choice of talent that Brandy hires. The circuit gay that shot her Christmas video and packaging comes to mind. ::cringe::

I'm guessing that she hires fans people based on comfort, but I would love for her to hire someone that she's less comfortable with AND experienced who will shake her up a bit. For example, Eve's co-writer for her memoir has written a number of books and has been in the game writing for Vibe, Rolling Stone, etc. maybe I'm jumping the gun. I will try to let go of whatever assumptions that I have, and wait and see.
