I am happy that both of them see they are loved/body of work is highly respected by their peers.
Because they both have made suspect comments thinking they aren't. So this tour needs to provoke confidence in both of them.
Mons needs to release those albums she's sitting on.
Brandy needs to go back to the NSN and debut days and give another album with clean vocals only and no suspect mixing based on bury vocals mess instructions she clearly been giving to engineers.
 
Rih is such a cool superstar. Like she is always chill despite the fame and success.
The video of Rih telling Mons don't do that bc she waved to her instead of giving a huge is cute. Mons u are loved and respected recognize it and receive it.
Night 2 in ATL should be special & I'm sure the D stop will be as well since Mons husband is from there. So he got her lined up with special guests for that show.

I don't like Put it Down but shocked Ant or Brandy haven't put in that call for CB to perform that with her.

I was thinking the braids take away from the cuteness. I wonder if they are in a solid enough place for him to A&R her next project. He has a good ear for music. He has the pull to get who she needs for a project and maybe push her.

This tour is a cultural shift

It truly IS.... it makes me emotional to see her finally get her flowers and respect by EVERYBODY in the industry. This tour is kinda solidifying her as a LEGEND. It feels like a cultural shift in so many ways... it's a big shift for Millennials. The artists that we grew up with and loved are now shifting to be the new generation of "greats" and "legends." Its beautiful and feels weird/sad all at the same time.

This is also why I wanna go back again for the 2nd ATL show and do the meet n greet. It just kinda feels like this will be the last time to see Brandy live (and having a big moment) like this ever again.

After a tour like this, do yall think a Vegas residency would even be successful? I cant picture people flying to see Brandy & Ghan for a residency. No shade.

I think I'd rather see Bran put her energy into more timeless music. Relink with Rodney/Timb and other producers that have complemented her well, get back to her old vocal delivery with a few tune ups to where she is vocally today and keep building her catalogue.

God willing, she will have her day to have a residency that will be even more ICONIC if she can continue to push through as an artist over the next 10-15 years.

I would be more excited for a residency when she's older, tbh.
