I see Monica is still makes these subtle boasting and performative comments that frame her as the one you don't mess with—while subtly casting Brandy as the delicate one. It like passive-aggressive positioning and she keeps re-assigning their roles in the dynamic to make herself feel more comfortable about being the "hood" one of the two. 

This is the loop that has them falling out over and over again. 

When someone doesn't fully respect the essence of who you are, even when they try to understand, it's not worth it. Do the tour and keep it moving from that lady.

Brandy does the same thing by making herself seem like the younger, less experienced one of the two.
Always shying away and letting Monica lead. She has been doing this since IABTM.

I think it's to not over talk Monica and cause any issues so no one can say, "you never let me talk"  I do that to sometimes if a lot of ppl are talking ill just let everyone else talk and wait to get my point across.
