I'm actually KINDA siding with Tamar here. Just from the info we have so far. 

It seems like the other sisters are trying to absolve themselves of any responsibility regarding their niece.

Tamar could be doing this for the sake of her niece, but it wouldn't surprise me if she's using this to kick up some mess.

Im sorry but why would u think anything Tamar does is genuine?  This girl came out and said she was inappropriately approached by her uncle. Tamar's response is u wanna come on my podcast and subsequently my TV show and talk about it and probably also confront the aunt who you're saying treated u differently?  Instead of supporting her out of the public eye, she invited her to public situations THAT SHE EXECUTIVE PRODUCES and benefits from.  This is the same woman that said she almost lost her life (which was probably a damn lie) and flew str8 to social media and allowed someone she called a friend to get tossed and dragged all across the internet while she planned sum album release bullshit.  May, wake tf up.  SHIT! smh

Everything Tamar does is self-serving. If she really wanted to help her niece why did she need to put her on the podcast? She needs emotional support not an interview. Even in this moment she doing all that extra shit to create a moment.

what's most important here is the healing that could have occurred for the niece. i'll need to see more of this but i would be super disappointed in GODni if what i think is happening here, is actually happening

GODni is significantly older than Tamar and more likely to abide by that ol' Black southern "what goes on in this house STAYS in this house " mentality.

.......Specifically for "deep dark secrets".

Tamar is younger and more likely to embrace newer forms of "therapy" - including sharing your deepest messiest tea on podcasts.

to be fair, the niece clearly had intentions to bring her story to the public when went on TikTok to air mess out

sometimes healing for people simply means getting the word out and taking things from underneath a rug - letting people hear their story.

from what i remember (and i could be wrong, i'll have to listen back) but im pretty sure the niece mentioned she went to counseling to work through things

when someone's been violated, they don't wanna feel like they're helping to hide their violators. especially as they get older. they may even wanna see them (rightfully) lashed and held accountable in some way by the masses. it sometimes turns from shame/embarrassment when they're younger - to anger....then to a reasonable thirst for revenge (i hate to use the word "revenge" given its negative connotations but i'll prob think of a better word later lol).

if the niece was a minor - too young to fully consent and understand what she was doing by getting on a larger platform to share that would be different. but she's an adult who actually wanted to put her story out there. tamar was doing the right thing for her by allowing that, even if she had her hidden motives which were self-serving.

sometimes impact will override intent, this woulda been one of those cases.

You probably wanted to use "vengeance" instead of revenge, but I get what you're saying.
