No that new snippet she's been teasing sounds great. I think it's called "Low"

ReVonIsMine

This looks and sounds like a Barney scene. WTH  :plzstop:  :kii:  :dead:

ReVonIsMine

She is too old for this, and it is so off-brand for Dove.

Shit is funny asf though. I've just been chuckling.

FAMÈ

How is she too old to empower women about their skin?

There's literally an 80 year old woman dancing with her.

Ulysses

Because it's the fucking Hokey Pokey??  :uhh:

tbh i think thats kinda where they're going for

a lot of companies are moving away from predictable, super safe advertisements that ONLY disrupt viewers and ultimately make them yawn

that's why you're probably gonna be seeing more content that is "off-brand" - as you described it. they're realizing it's time to pivot a bit and update their software for current times lol.

the fact that ciara is a grown woman performing a version of a famously childish song was a very intentional concept/kii here IMO.

its something to talk about, to laugh about
it's kinda built for social media engagement and virality

and GODara got her coin either way :caramelapple:

Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

i think we're so used to/grew up seeing these borderline pretentious ads from companies

so someone saying a silly ad is "off brand" for a company to me is simply another way of saying "this is BENEATH THEM".
which makes sense.

and that's exactly what they're tryna get away from. they're tryna go from this:  :sup:  to this:  :caseoftheherp:

we've seen this kinda happen in the music industry with artists being pushed to be more "relatable!" and "fun!" and "personality!" driven . and that whole air of  :sup: -ness and mystique going completely out of style - with very few exceptions. much due to social media

the same thing is happening for companies in other industries now IMO its their turn to update their software
