Makes me wonder if this was actually recorded before or around the time she recorded INFINITY or the CAUTION album.
!!! I think it was recorded earlier as well

She still has her musicality, the backgrounds are still so good

Purple Moon

I loved caution so much so its difficult to praise this. On caution she barely did any high belting i feel but it didnt ever sound like it lacked anything. Now i felt something was missing, plus her overall tone just isn't as pleasant anymore, high belting or not. It's still somewhat of a solid album.
Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...

It's growing on me a bit.

Mi, Play This Song and I Won't Allow It are still the trinity of the album.

Amazing

She sounds heavily medicated even while singing

I don't know what's going and I'm concerned.

the effects on Caution sound good though

Quote from: L0NZ. on September 26, 2025, 09:28:13 AMNo seriously what caused this? I'm sure it's been explained over the years but  :uhh:
A combination of the nodules on her voice catching up to her, drinking over the years, meds and poor technique. That breathy vocal can be very damaging and she did it a lot over the years as her voice declined. I'm sure there are other factors we aren't aware of but that's my guess. The slurring or appearance of slurred speech and phrasing could be due to medication of some kind.

fck y'all

I want them banned

I do enjoy the Anderson Paak songs. Her vibrato is the main issue for me. It keeps sounding as if her voice is breaking and cracking, even on the song with Kehlani.

At least she turned the mic on to sing with her man

She slayed. Going to sell 65K outsold Doja Cat, Young Thug and etc 35 years in her career in a dying genre give her things.

Im sorry not even the current R&B girls (Chloe, CoCo, and etc) can do IT! Only Sza and SUMMER (MAYBE)

Nine

I honestly thought she would do less, 65k is actually a book.
