that line was extracted from a larger conversation with two legal analysts on CNN

one of which actually said the sentencing was "harsh". (the senior analyst)

CNN extracted that one line from the conversation and used it as a headline because that particular analyst's opinion is more interesting IMO. saying someone is a "winner" as they're being thrown in jail will get more clicks.

ultimately it's a matter of opinion for both analysts.

but the reality is Diddy's family is not celebrating right now - in fact it's quite the opposite. it doesn't appear that it's likely Diddy FEELS like a winner in this moment.
