These pics were definitely shade.

The thing is, most Black women still slay to a degree without makeup. Their skin just sits while a lot of White women look more harsh. So of course they did everything they could to soften up the Caucasoids while SWATHING the Black girls in a "fresh outta the cotton field" mess.
