people are questioning why Tina is out slanging gumbo at her age when the familys supposed to be rich

(and even saying they're having money issues)

but older folks just wanna go do something with themselves sometimes

and not just sit at home. i def remember my grandparents trying to "retire" so many times and doing the whole "just gonna kick back and do nuthin!   i earned it!!!" tea...and i mean they could have..their houses were paid off - they had the passive income

but it drove them nuts. they had to find SOMETHING to do with themselves and they had to feel needed somewhere, and have a schedule. it wasn't a money thing

i think that's what Tina is doing. she doesnt HAVE to do it, she wants to

she's already shown us she's not the type to fade in the background anyway. goddess wants to be seen and wants to do stuff.

After reading Tina's book, she always wanted to be famous it seems. Now that she's not a full time stylist for Bey she can do whatever she wants and she doesn't want to be an unknown mother of a star in the background.
