GODlli is playing in the gorls face and I think that's what is making it worse

I still feel for kwee and don't wanna see her get dogpiled on

But I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.

What do people see in trump anyway? The man is delusional...

always dealing in his feelings and opinions instead of facts

Saying wars have been won and negotiations are in progress while Iran is somewhere saying "who said dat?"

Seeing him constantly embarrass himself is a huge reason I tune into CNN faithfully

Cuz Honestly some of the people angrily gatekeeping the Starbucks flavors sounded just as ridiculous as she did

"U aint no got damn caramel!  :uhh: imma pull out my chart now! Oh Imma prove it! "

Kwee is a beautiful dark skinned woman IMO . If she wants to call it caramel crunch or cinnamon raisin or pecan delight that is up to her

I agree, we all have our own perspective . If that's how she sees herself, I love that for her. But she can't control/police how other people see her...you can't make the girls drink the Koolaid. IMO she's a beautiful, delusional, colorstruck, black bitch woman.

But, that's just MY opinion. Not an absolute fact or the 'law of the land' and I wouldn't try..dictate that to other people. I'm sure if we took a poll, the consensus would be: she's chocolate/brown/dark/etc. But if she sees herself differently, she's entitled to that.
i def think her going out of her way to correct was extra

If someone thinks you're "chocolate" correcting them isn't suddenly gonna change their perception of you

Fnnfnncncncncncncnncnc

Those who are adding things up about her aren't delusional. Completely Isolated, the whole chocolate vs. caramel is silly and petty but when you add it to the bigger collective picture it def clocks a bit of tea.

Like how she dips so deep into her Indian/Bangladeshi heritage going far as actually wearing garbs outside and mess ... even putting "Henna" on her hands

but I never really see goddess getting into Formation.

I'm an ancestry gorlie for sure but if u are really loud n proud be proud of everything you are.. realize that def includes a black American heritage and a whole got damn Black American upbringing in GODlanta of all places.

Nfnfnfnfnnffnfn

If ur mixed with curry that's awesome celebrate it but if ur raised as a black American IMO ... black American churches, black American fans, black American money...

that's ultimately where your loyalty should lie. If the gorls don't see that reflected in ur actions I don't blame them for checking out

Ultimately This is an issue of loyalty. As someone who proudly identifies as a Foundational Black American I understand it.

Me too, I'ma mix ADOS, Native, great grandfather on paternal was Amish, etc. I never got a DNA test or anything, BUT, bitch I'm a proud BLACK man everyday of my life, with my full chest, 10 toes down. And I'm the opposite of Chilli  :kii:  :kii: people consider me 'light-skin' but I consider myself brown/black LMAO Ever since I was little I always rejected people calling me that and objected constantly, but now I just don't even pay attention to it.

My thing about it is my dad is light-bright dam near white and my baby sister too. So, THEY are light skinned/Red bone, to me. I'm darker than them, so I'm not light skinned. I'm brown-skinned/black and proud of it.
i honestly used to be confused when I saw black people who were quick to correct someone for calling them dark skinned

Like what's so bad about being dark?

I really had to educate myself on colorism ... and racism, and how it's all intertwined

Now I have empathy for those who are uncomfortable with certain labels cuz I understand it may stem from life experiences or even just overall societal BS that is always lingering

Yeah, it's fucked up, I remember one of the few times I really got..stern with my little brother was because of this. He was in middle/high school and he was holding court with his little friends (we are the same shade/color, he's 4 years younger) and I overhear him 'yeah am light skin, I'm mixed, ra-ra-ra' like, in a 'trying to get points for it' or something way..

When I tell you I almost slapped the shit out of him :dead:

He hangs with more white crowd, dates white girls type of dude. I'm the opposite.

I busted him out, no tf you are not and you sound stupid trying to say that. We are not light skinned or mixed, we are black. Our dad is mixed, not us etc

It's crazy how warped this shit can get, light-skin 'privilege', pretty 'privilege', and how people try to conflate the two.

The lighter you are, the worse you age..get into THAT. Who tf wants THAT?? LMAO That shit ain't pretty!

But, that melanin actually protects us..so that's the REAL FCKN 'PRIVILEGE', if you wanna get technical. Everybody else is just jealous, trying to play reverse-psychology. CLOCK that.

And this is my main gripe with Trump supporters. Supporting him or anything he stands for tells me you have poor judgement and questionable morals. I have no respect for anyone that supports him.

I def get that. Regardless of our backgrounds of whatever we are Black and of products of the Black culture.

And I'd say it's usually others who will point out what's "different" about someone . The gorls could just be going on about their life and minding their Black business and have people tell them "are u sure ur REALLY Black?" Or says "are they 'Black' like you or BLACK?"

So for those who have had those experiences and have had those things said to them, my heart is with them if it affects them.

But if you have significant and visually obvious African ancestry, was raised in black culture black churches black schools . You def pass even the most strict litmus test of "blackness"

You are def Black. Black of X heritage, of course. But Black.

And Blackness is what we all have in common, and brings us together.
