I'm looking at these sales breakdowns on Wikipedia
I think TLC might have Spice Girls beat worldwide. I don't feel like calculating the sales from all these countries worldwide for all their singles.

Wikipedia says Crazy Sexy Cool And Spice both sold 23 million worldwide

Then Spice World sold 14 million
FanMail and Ooooh on TLC tip sold 10 million and 6 Million

The 3rd Spice Girls album sold about 2 million
TLC 3D sold 600k in the US


Even this is doing too much for me but I'm getting about 40 million from both groups but I think TLC is a little bit ahead

the spice girls has sold over 100 million records worldwide.  Thats singles and everything. It's not just about ALBUMS sold. Idc where u look and who u ask, the spice girls eclipses TLC. Thats not even debatable 

I was looking into all of that. Of course any publication you look at will tell you the Spice Girls sold more. That's what the media wants you to think.

oh they were a huge brand. My sister had a Mel B toy, and different merch. There was even a video game and everything. However that doesn't instantly translate into record sales. They were kinda like Hannah Montana was, or like the Power Rangers or other 90s fads that lasted like 5 years.

I just calculated all the certifications for "Wannabe"
It sold 7.1 million worldwide
No Scrubs sold 8 million between the US and UK alone

The girls were huge stars but no one took them seriously as artists

yes theyre White but also when u consider the branding, the super pop/ dance-pop music....

GODlli and DC were moreso R&B/pop crossover as opposed to pure pop.

by the strictest R&B standards they were very poppy of course but in comparison to the Spice Girls their music def was designed to hook their Black audience and then spread out as much as possible to other audiences. Which they did perfectly

but i believe SG is the best selling. i mean it makes sense with ALL factors considered. now if someone comes to tell me the group "Dream" was out here booking platinum plaques I'd say yeah gorl u just saying that cuz they're White.

and that's not even fair to TLC because one of their members died 20 years ago in their prime and one is fighting for her life with sickle cell. Of course they're not putting on a huge tour, and are barely making it with the tour they're currently on

TLC is still currently touring amidst health issues if the demand was there for them to do a stadium tour THEY WOULD. This CLEARLY shows their levels arent the same. TLC isn't even doing arenas, let alone stadiums. I'm not gonna have this convo when the numbers speak for themselves but u can continue rambling on about propaganda.

and Spice Up Your life sold 600k in the whole world including the US

Of course more ppl will go to a Spice Girls concert when they know all of them are ALIVE and healthy enough to be there, and with FIVE members they can fill in if one doesn't come
Meanwhile you have Chilli perfectly fine but T Boz is overweight and prone to having "crises" with her sickle cell and she can't dance full out like she used to. No promoter is booking them for a big stadium tour

Their songs still can and likely have sold more than Spice Girls though
