A poll tevin campbell was amongst one of the first eliminated? 
As u said,  I don't look at shit like this as an indicator of much because the general public votes as the general public will. Tevin Campbell literally sings better than all 3 of those men. The same way Brian McKnight was eliminated because we've decided we don't like him anymore and nothing to do with vocals. He also sings better than Tank and Usher

Saying Tevin sings better than these men is like saying Tamar sings better than Beyonce, Brandy and Jazmine.
Can he WAIL higher and louder than them? Sure. But apparently the ppl taking this poll have more sophisticated ears than the average music listener and they know there's more to singing than who can sing the highest

Being a good singer/vocalist is much more than hitting notes on an R&B song. Usher has legit successfully been able to deliver over multiple genres and do it INCREDIBLY well.

Higher? Tevin Campbell is a male whitney.  That's like saying whitney sang better because she sang high. Tevin sang better at his best than usher or tank EVER could and it didn't have shit to do with high notes,  hence me not mentioning them.  My favorite female singers are Toni Braxton, India Arie, Lalah Hathaway, etc.  So take that who sings higher shit over there because that never came from me because that's not something I value. My point was made in my previous post.  I think Brian McKnight may have been the first person out.  That invalidated this whole thing.  This is a popularity contest,  not a vocal off.  Usher there when Brian and Tevin are eliminated.  Laughable

Anyone that knows me in my personal life knows I don't even like men that sound like bitches. I like men who sound like men. Joe, tyrese, jaheim, teddy P, Dave Hollister. Issac carree, etc. Then there are some mfs who u just cant deny. Darryl coley, Tevin Campbell, Maxwell etc. Usher ain't cutting it.  SORRY! And Tank is overrated with subpar ass music and that's why that mfs go to is taking off that shirt. Still ain't got that mf one platinum album after all these years

Tevin literally is only the male Whitney because he purposely tried to sing like her (and Aretha)
He is not Daryl Coley. That's exactly why I compared him to Tamar. They sing alike high and loud. I almost wanna put him with J HUD but he does have more flexibility than that.

I will agree that you never have been the one to only like high notes but that is literally the only thing separating him from the men on this list especially Tank and Usher

And yea singing like Whitney has nothing to do with high notes.  Brandy was very reminiscent of Whitney on her debut and that had nothing to do with notes because Brandy aint never hit a Whitney note EVER. Its about inflection, tone quality,  skill,and ability.  Tevin's ABILITY far exceeds ushers and thats why Usher is never in the conversation when it comes to VOCALS. Imma let this convo be tho because I refuse to discuss vocals with non vocalists LOLZ! I never claimed to know everything and always be right (tho I usually am lol) but I do have a degree in music and im better than debating with useless and STRAY about  MUSIC

It really be so funny when i hear people talk about musical people being a certain way because I really am a bit of a music snob  


Thats why I'll never sit on here and discuss a pretty damn ricky. Even my favs who arent "vocalists" have some great qualities. I dont wanna take everything away from Usher tho. He cool for a lil ying yang round da house. He has had what tank commonly doesn't, good music
