The vocal GOAT will always be Nippy bc she 90% of her career got out there and gave a live vocal.

it's a bit contradictory bby. bran has also built up enough good will regarding her vocal talent.

i think the nuance is bey has always been dedicated to the performance aspect of her shows, dancing down. whereas bran isn't really known for that so i think many people expect her to prioritize live vocals over an 8 count.

Bran has built up enough goodwill too. I personally don't mind the lip syncing. I would like her to be better at it though. It's all the hand movements and theatrics that be throwing me dhjddjdndn

I'm not a Brandy stan but I understand the frustrations from her stans. She finally started popping out performing consistently but ain't giving the gorls a live vocal. That's what I meant by my first comment.

And that's why the comparison makes no sense. Bey has been touring, doing award shows, and major sporting events for the last decade. She's been very active and visible. So her fans don't have the same yearnings.

I can always tell when she's lipping from the more animated mannerisms. I've seen other artists do it too.

Beyonce mastered the art of prerecording. She has hiccups here and there but most people will never clock it.

Brandy's last few festival performances didn't give 100% prerecorded to me. It was giving her mic was drenched in autotune, melodyne or w/e it's called. I'm no expert on the subject. I just don't see her prerecording vocals for every show and having to memorize each count, nuance, riff etc and if she does then shit that takes talent too.  It's easier to just sing live atp.
