No one is booking you to sing the National Anthem, Boo-Bop is an American citizen and it is an accomplisment to sing the National Anthem for the NBA idiot. You are lame AF for the last part of your comment like get a fucking grip.

No wonder Brandy doesn't come on here and speak to you all since the Two Eleven, Niggas have to be negative at all times like take a mf'n chill-pill.

To answer you question, no we can't stop taking it as an accomplishment to sing the National Anthem, no.

Quote from: Vonc2002 on November 07, 2026, 03:09:56 PMSyrai would benefit from being in a group.  She has become a better singer but she's not a STAND OUT voice.  She has a pretty tone but in a group with some other voices able to accomplish the things she can't vocally.  She would shine alot more.  Like Dawn didn't have the biggest voice in Danity Kane, Kandi in Xscape, etc but their tones were foundational to the sound of the group and without them the songs WEREN'T group songs. That could be Syrai
I don't know if you have ever heard of a Christian group from the 90s/2000s called Out of Eden but yeah she sounds just like one of those girls.

Let her Mom enjoy her babies accomplishment in peace. She doesn't need to be in a group if some of these girl who can't actually sing can be be solo so can she because she can actually sing

I know this group. The lead singer has a much stronger voice so can't be her. I can see comparison to one of the other singers but syrai has better control and pitch than her.

I do agree that there's an element of depth or "soul" missing but I think she can get there and a lot of the new girls are missing the same thing.

I always compare syrai to summer walker, who is kind of lackluster and stiff to watch perform, but on record she is able to emote in a few different ways to have a "complete" voice

Syrai might benefit from trying some acoustic songs so she can learn to fill in the space and we could also perceive her better
Ketanji Jackson has come this far by faith.

Yeah she doesn't technically need soul to her voice but I get the depth part....its so many lanes she can go, it doesn't have to be traditional r&b, I can see something a bit more off-kilter

Girl I don't give a damn and shut the hell up...we talking in the thread and congratulating her in public. I don't want to be invited anywhere to sing the national anthem that was written by a slave owner

What stages are you booking that you speak of??

Boo-bop has mentioned in an interview that she is aware that she hasn't experienced much which is why she waited to release a full body of work. I have a feeling that as she ages, and unfortunately goes through the ups, and downs of life she will eventually have more texture to her voice.
Think about Brandy did sound like an Alvin sometimes whenever she debuted, hell she mentioned it during a interview in her youth, she said something about sounding like a "chipkmonk trying to be a human", so it's just a matter of time before this rich spoiled girl grows more into her adult voice, she is 20 something now (so it's just a matter of time).

She's talented and did a great job in Christmas Everyday or whatever it was called. She'll be alright and have staying power watch. She also is Gen Z so she's leaning into what her generation enjoys hearing, think about we don't have any fanny's or jazzy's in this generation...Hell no Heather headly's ect no one is really out her blowing like us millennials are used to.

You make good points, she has grown and I think in a few years it'll be even better but she has to find the sweet spots in her voice....I want to hear some of the songs she has in the vault cause it's about two I heard that sound great for her voice. I never thought Bran sounded like a chipmunk tho lol her voice would crack when she was younger but maybe during Human she gave a chipmunk effect
