Its an out when i needed it the most but when we go to court i will try to work out something since i can prove i had my share of the rent

But weren't you the lease holder?
And he was the cosigner!?

we were both responsible for the lease but if he doesnt show im sure i can pursuade them to make some payment arrangments and keep my name out of it lol

yeah i was head of household just because  my income qualified more than his
but legally if both of our names were on it we are equally responsible unless one of us did a roomate release

it wont ruin my credit but money talks i can get another place easy
housing is competitive anway its not impossible
i can pay the full rent but Im over it and its not worth it
and i planned on moving anyhow

if he didnt have his money for his rent thats on him
i cant controll all the variables on his end
only fault i can see is not finding someone more secure financially like myself

Only to fall back to square one each time..
And usually this stems from helping others or investing more into other ppl rather than the one person that deserves it most....... YOU.
It's ok to have a big heart but it's not ok to let ppl walk all over you and stray u away from the path ur headed.

We are like a family here.. None of this is cool.
