Now that I've calmed down all I can say is:

  I hope they both get over this soon. I'm not saying they'll be besties..ever; they're very different. However, I think a majority of the tensions and lingering subtle feelings about eachother have been due to the media, fans and their teams.

I know and have seen them kick it on several occasions outside of performances, duets and promo and they genuinely have a good time together. For example the 2011 Clive Davis party, or when they went out drinking and partying together.

The fans and media had ruined what COULD even possibly be a semi friendship because they always get compared and contrasted. I personally couldn't imagine or even what that in a friendship of mine, so I'm sure it just makes things all the more difficult on building a solid friendship.

Both of them have beautiful stories to tell and just the fact that they're both STILL around and making music and have fans is just a a blessing.
They're both 20+ years in the biz and under 40 damn years old.
I hope they both one day look back and burry all the mess and say "wow we made to the other side, and we're both still here! And still in the musical history books. Look at God!"

Fuck who sold more, fuck who's the better singer, fuck who's prettier, fuck all of that mess. It's disgusting the way we compare two black women just trying to share their gifts to the world.

My truest wish is that all stanship aside; I just want things to come full circle with them one day. And I'm sure it will. Whether it's here or on the other side 🌌

They have no time. Bran is busy with rebuilding a brand & Monica has a family who is she is truly passionate about.

I don't know them personally but I study and watch them. And have for years. I know when they're being fake, when they're bothered by something, when they're in their feelings etc.

The media has caused them to get under each other's skin a bit.
Make them believe or even ponder on the things the media, their teams and fans have said about eachother.

Rig knows what I'm talking about. The subtle posts they make sometimes when they're at adds and basically trying to ensure the other sees what they posted and mess. It's just a mess. The whole thing is.

I don't think anything specific happened recently. I honestly think Bran just woke up and said fuck this bitch considering everything that's happened over the years.

But I need her to take her foot off Mon's neck and give us some fckn music.

It's all speculation at this point since we don't know what's really going on between them.
