I watched some of his interviews and he seems really sharp and ambitious.

It all comes down to delegates. At each contest the winner is awarded a certain number of delegates depending on the margin they won by.

In order for a candidate to get the the party's nomination, they need a total number of 2383 delegates to win.

Right now Hillary has: 1238 delegates
Bernie has: 572 delegates

In order for Bernie to clench the Democratic nomination, he'd need to win EVERY remaining state by like 70% going forward..... It ain't happening. Hillary has more delegates right now, than Senator Obama had at this same time in '08.

There are a few states coming up that Bernie will win, so I'm sure he'll stay in the race. But its gonna be Trump Vs Clinton come November.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is trying to clarify a statement he made about whether white Americans can empathize with blacks.

During Sunday night?s Democratic debate, Sanders said that "when you are white, you don't know what its like to be living in a ghetto, you don't know what it's like to be poor."

The Vermont senator tried to explain on Monday.
"What I meant to say," Sanders said, according to an NBC News reporter, "is when you talk about ghettos, traditionally what you're talking about is African-American communities.
