I'm mad Rod or whoever acted like they didn't know how to mix Brandy's voice

The Definition is a great song, but they just pushed everything back, she sounds muffled

Camouflage, Torn Down

oh and take Piano Man and Long Distance off, add After the Flood and a mastered Porcelain
Also 1st and Love should've just been a buzz or tour song

Fall should've been a duet, or spent more time on it, it could've been an epic song

OMG... I actually LIVED for this alberm, it puts you in a good ass mood, I just wanna go pass out food under bridges

!!!!!!! Another singer friend of mine said the same thing. I don't necessarily have an ear for that yet (you both have recorded in studios for a long time) but after he pointed it out, he was like "it sounds like a FEW people went back in and kept missing with the mix of certain songs"

Human, True, Camouflage, Torn Down .... all could've had stripped down acoustic versions a la Lauryn or India
that's the thing about Human, they took Brandy's soul sound completely away instead of mixing it

agreed. Listen to the "live" versions of Long distance compared to the album Come on now

I do like Human more than TwoEleven overall. And if you include some of the unreleased, it's unfair

Still love certain songs, but this 7th album is gonna blow BOTH away. I just feel it, man I'm sorry

I love this damn album. The music wasn't typical Brandy music. But to me it was like a peak into her diary... the album came out around a hard time in my life and i liteally let it sooth me.

i love brandy's albums all of them beside's really 2/11 are a soundtrack to a tough time i'm going through. she's my therapist. LOL

Most real singers use it for the effect and not the actual pitch correction!
That effect is all through human..
They just didn't know how to mix her
