mariah carey, maybe a lisa raye ( i can't think of how yellow she is right now) but yea,  those bitches

Mariah is not yellow to me but redbone or yellowbone like Amber Rose and Prince.

Beyonc?, Chris Brown, Cassie I would consider high yella.  :plzstop:

Whites might not consciously see light/dark/medium, they WILL however subconsciously treat you differently/preferentially and/or feel less threatened by you.

This is common sense and it's not just whites. Other Non-blacks are the same way.

It should be, but some people in here are denying their lives away.

Well u have that wrong.  Prince, amber, and mariah would be high yellow as in beyond lightskin and because a couple of them are mixed that makes sense. Beyonce aint even yellow so how the hell could she be HIGH yellow :dead:
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Idk it is very subjective obcviously and super trivial, hence the iamweak-smiley...

I guess when somebody still looks black to me but is very light skinned, I call them high yellow, vs. when they look like a new weird race altogether like Amber, Mariah, Prince, some of these super light models, the dreaded guy from I Luh Ya Papi...

Then Don Benjamin he kinda is both to me.

I don't know if there are clean-cut definitions though.

They see but they don't give a fuck. That's the point hun. To them black is black.

Beyonce definitely isn't VERY light tho but u know what I'm remembering, u said she was racially ambiguous so im not even gonna bother :dead:

Herb.

A lot of white people will turn their own biracial grandchildren away because they want nothing to do with someone that is unpure. Which is why I believe many biracial people are quicker to cling to the Black community. They're quicker to claim their Blackness than 100% African Americans are. Which makes sense, considering that Blacks adore and uplift anything mixed, anything nondark and nonkinky while many Whites look down on it and don't want it near them. Family or not

Unfortunately that is absolutely untrue. They will treat you differently and talk to you differently based on their perceived degree of your blackness. A Halle Berry loking woman gets to walk through many white doors, a Viola Davis looking woman is simply denied.

They (non-blacks) often like their "blacks" to not be too black, unless they fetishize them in some weird way. And usually when a white person/woman says they are into "blacks", they mean the light/mixed ones, and not the pure, really dark blacks.

Sadly in the Western society beyond the black community, black is not just black.
