Drais, i have to say, u brought it home with that one. Aint nobody walking around talking bout light chink, dark chink or that muslim is lighter or darker so maybe he's good. They're all chinks and terrorists. The portrayal of them in film is all about marketability
They have the same issues within their communities though. Especially, Asians.
But white people dont treat them differently based on how light or dark they are tho. They see them all the same. Like ull never hear a white person saying some Afghan is better because he's lighter. He's gonna be a terrorist regardless of how light or dark. They may have that problem within their community but that's what i said. US black people harp on the different blacks, not white people. U said someone said u were pale but never like EVER have i heard a white person call a black person "lightskinned"

Luv, that was my point. It may not have spilled over into how they're marketed here in the U.S. but the difference is that those people immigrated here on their own so of course it's always just going to be "Chink! Terrorists!" as opposed to how AA's are portrayed.
The portrayal of African Americans, whose ancestors were enslaved on America's soil are vastly different. I'm sure you know about the paper bag test which stems from the slave caste. I mean, the "house nigga" was treated different than the "field nigga" who were all dark skin. It's not just an issue with the AA community because the mentality links right back to white people.
