Here is what the interview will look like:
What would happen in "Another Life" [title of his album]
Why did you choose to work with Kimbra, Big KRIT and Kendrick on the album? / How do you choose your collaborations and maintain integrity (past work with The Game)
Explain the track "Money over Lover".
You come from a multi-religious background, and have Arabic names, where do they stem from? Are you a person of faith? What is the source of your motivation in life?
I love your debut "1st Born Second", in retrospect the album made you take a 10 year hiatus, why? How was it doing such "serious" music at such a young age, in a world full of Ushers and R. Kelly's.
You created the collective Soulquarians with people like Common, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu and D'Angelo. How was that era, any chance of a reunion [without J Dilla obviously]?
After your debut you proceeded to collaborate with singer Tweet. How was that get-together?
Another female duet included "Everything I Do" with Beyonc?, before she was Beyonc?, but rather Beyonc? Knowles of Destiny's Child. How was she at the time?
Thoughts on her Superbowl performance? / #BlackLivesMatter
Other collaborations after that were Chrisette Michele, Joy Denalane and Jazmine Sullivan. How were these two women in the studio.
On the Jazmine duet you give a laid back refined vocal versus a shout fest full of riffs and hollers, is your relaxed style a conscious effort?
I especially love your song with Dawn Richard, Kalenna, Diddy, Justin Timberlake and James Fauntleroy on the Diddy-Dirty Money album, were you all in the studio together to record that song?
Any dream collaborations in the future? Favourite artists of today?
How do you deal with being considered underrated or underappreciated, especially now that you have finally won your Grammy with Kendrick?
What was the mistake in your life, that you could best learn from?
