She has spoken in the past about having her confidence back but it was never believable to me. I never once heard Brandy in the past speak about being confident. Like....not once. I've heard her say she believes in the music or the era, but confidence is something Ive never heard her claim. If anything she was overtly humble and transparent about her fears singing live or big songs.
Im sure I haven't seen every Brandy, so maybe I missed it. I think sometimes we interpret things about Brandy and pass it off as fact because we've linked pieces together. It's just frustrating when people make it seem like Brandy flip flops her personality when I believe she's always genuwine. Her opinions of her music shifts, but as far as her character she's a pretty open book and for the most part has been.
Her business plans change, because thats what happens in business. Its not Brandy, its the machine that supported her.
She has spoken about getting her confidence back and in a better place before. She did it during 'Human' and 'Two Eleven'.
Brandy is a human being first and foremost. Although I do believe she can be easily influenced at times, she is allowed to change her mind and go through ups & downs just like the rest of us. The difference is she's in the spotlight. So of course she has to go through all that publicly. However, this is the life she chose as a celeb. When you're in the public eye people are going to have opinions, especially your fans. It comes with the territory and as a celeb you just have to suck it up and deal.
