No shade girls, but why is this thread full of negativity and attacking others for their opinions?

There should be no "gotcha" moment or "I told you so". End of discussion :uhh:

Anyways, so glad these parents are gonna get another chance to express themselves. THATS what matters.

I would've rather sat in this thread and discussed the positive impact this COULD have

But if the girls are just gonna sit and bash others

Then I'm outta here LOLZ

I mean what can you say hun? Bey just kinda slapped you in the face again after you were asking her to really make a statement because Formation wasn't it for you.

You kinda have no ground to stand on.

:feelinmyself:

ssssss

But honestly sis, I don't care

This isn't a Stan war for me. She's stepping into the realm of issues that affect me.

Let's celebrate these parents that have another chance to express themselves.

Don't be like other girls here bby sis and live only for gotcha moments, you are WAY better than that LOLZ

I just don't think someone would make music in opposition of the majority if they were seeking $$ or fame

No matter how money hungry or attention seeking

Like, can someone explain how this benefits Beyonce outside of support from the black community(Which she's always had)?
Beyonce wants to be taken seriously as an artist, this is clear.  She even said she wants to make more serious music, which started with 4. Some people considered that tryhard.
I'm not above thinking it could be genuine but there is still room for ulterior motive
I could see her thinking THIS could make her until the ultimate artist

But, she's black, her man is black, and her family is black, so this shit HAS to resonate with her.  :plzstop:
Yea i half like beyonce so imma give her the benefit of the doubt and atleast wait till i hear the music and see the videos. It seems like the visuals this era could really be amazing

I mean, no one's saying it's a bad thing to be calculated. A certain degree of calculation is necessary to be successful in any field. It's what makes Beyonce who she is.

The problem is that when a person like her does gestures like this, it's hard to not question whether or not it's coming from a genuine place or not. It's sort of like when Taylor, another artist who gets flack for being calculated, invited all those black people up on stage with her when she was on tour. A lot of people questioned whether she was doing it because she really wanted to, or if she had an ulterior motive.

Of course, Bey's and Taylor's situations aren't quite the same. Beyonce has a LOT more to lose, but if she doesn't, the impact will be huge and might cement that legendary status she craves so much.

She's definitely teaching her daughter to have PRIDE in her natural beauty as Black young woman. Which I know isn't easy reading and hearing everything that's sad about her. But I love that 'fas knows that weaves and wigs and mess comes with HER job description. Doesn't mean she has to slap a blond lacefront on Blu's head too. That in itself lends credibility to what she's doing.

This totally isn't something out of the blue IMO. And I've always given 'fas credit for standing up for that SILENTLY, way before GODmation ever dropped. Her Black Pride is nothing new.
