Didnt perform Formation at BGR!

Outside of the Super Bowl it wouldve been a great platform! I feel she was kind of missing in action.

It wouldn't have been appropriate performing the entire record with some of those lyrics.

And she said she wanted to reach the biggest audience possible. She probably won't perform it anywhere else.

I agree its like the BGR anthem
but I guess shes prepping for her tour, or she didnt wanna watch Rih get an award

Real

Yeah I don't think she'd wanna sing about getting fucked good with those bbys in the front row  :shannonsmissing:

ok so.... basically

1:
The lyrics aren't REALLY about Black Women/People empowerment if the lyrics aren't appropriate in a setting like BGR

And 2:
Yea I kinda FIGURED she just wanted attention and wanted to cause a buzz on a big platform. Never was about a real cause like the girls argued me down about.

LOLZ!!!!!!!!

Yea....Im all for everything she did, I was/am in full support of Bey.

I just found it reductive not to perform the song directly to the women you want to inspire.

Maybe she had a commitment or other reasons Idk
