I'm sorry but vocally Kelly Clarkson is the most well rounded vocalist that ever came out from that show

Candace and Tasia shine
Carrie can blow in her own way

but Kelly Clarkson will forever remain THE American Idol IMO, it's crazy they could've stopped it after season one.
