Y'all act as if we were his friends or stans. For the most part we are pop music enthusiasts and thinking if ways to honor an icon like him seems natural

But can we celebrate HIS life and legacy first before we start throwing out randoms who should perform at EBT Week?

Most of the ppl here aren't stans and Prince was before their time, dumb dumb. What part of that do you not understand?

So then maybe this would be the perfect time to research and learn about who he was? Idiot.

That was a dumb correlation on your part.

Nnn you probably haven't listened to a single prince album in full, dor

Hopefully BET does do him justice tho 💔

I didn't like how they did Michael

Whitney's was good though

Prince is probably the most lowkey influential musician/singer of the times
From his arrangements, to writing, to producing...
He inspired and wrote for some of the biggest acts known
If he didn't  Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis from his band for being late they wouldn't have found Janet Jackson, even Janet says her first ever concert was a Prince concert, and even though people compare him and Michael a lot, even he was obsessed by him
He wanted to duet with him on 'Bad' but declined.
He played 21 instruments and covered almost every genre
He's a true music legend

exactly
Ppl singing HIS songs is celebrating him
and showing how big of an impact HE has on the industry
I could see if we were saying "Trey should sing his first single!"
But this is ALL Prince related. Should we want HIM to rise from the grave & sing?

Hon, why not focus on him solely since we just learned of his passing an hour ago.
This generation always wants to move so rapidly, without taking any time to reflect on what has just transpired.

Let's dig into his discography and legacy, since some of y'all claim he was before your time.

AIDS!

:uhh:
What are you fucking idiots even arguing about now

Opposites Attract.

Hopefully BET gives him a decent tribute if done right.
