There is definitely something  going on with this case. Am still investigating but don't like what I'm finding.

The weird thing is that in "Lets go crazy" he has lyrics like "Im not gonna let the elevator break us down, Oh no lets go!...."If the elevator tries to break you down, Go crazy!"

When he wrote the song elevator was a metaphor for big business corporations and he died in a elevator.

Im no conspiracy theroist, however the music business is in a serious downward spiral! These labels make no money. Their best pay off (regardless of who owns the music) are these veteran artist with the extensive catalogues. If the artist doesnt own their music its worth more when they are dead. If they do, Im sure that would piss higher ups off really bad.
