Goodnight everyone! I'm glad those who watched liked the show. I haven't seen it yet, so i can't really get into the thread. I hope they put it on youtude or something so those who don't have cable can see it. I love me some Brandy. I've been a fan since "I Wanna Be Down". She's an amazing all around artist, and i'm so proud of her!  :stressed:

Whew, I didn't think this would have me this emotional shdhdhdhsdd

She is really such an inspiration to never give up. Life comes with ups and downs but we all have a purpose and can and will be a lesson to someone. I love her so much and I really feel like this next era is going to be exactly what she deserves.

That was great but it's time to change the narrative of Brandy's career. I feel like the past few years it's been more about her struggles. But all artists experience a decline at one point so why continue to focus on that? Brandy's accomplishments greatly exceed her failures and she should be viewed as such.
now this i agree with

don't agree

this is actually the first time she's controlled the narrative, even though she spoke of all the struggles. she was in complete control and at peace which was never that case prior. Before she always seemed timid and disempowered.

and besides people what to know that stars are humans at the end of the day. that is how you win back the hearts of people

last point.

Brandy's career is about struggle, hardship and overcoming it triumphantly, thats the whole point here...and she is telling you that this IS her legacy and her purpose

she was SO honest. it was beautiful

if people dont see how much she's evolved as a person, then they're completely blind and probably have yet to experience their own
evolution of some kind. It should be constant, but ...

!!!!!!

That is what Brandy's music and legacy means to me, overcoming obstacles. From the beginning, she was told she wasn't good enough and she fucking made it.

You're absolutely right. Well said. It's about PURPOSE, and her purpose is everything to her.

The moment that really got me was when she talked about losing inspiration & passion, how she felt like she was "walking dead". For a creative spirit like her, that's devastating. So I'm thankful she feels passionate and inspired and rejuvenated again, and it's coming from inside herself, not an outside source. That's God.

I can't wait for next weekend and the west coast slayage

The space she's in now is so authentic  :stressed: This was a great show. I am sure they talked about so much more. I want to see the rest of the footage. Ugh...so good.

Wtv

just watched, it was such a special documentary
I got a bit teary eyed around the part of Full Moon, Rodney talking and suddenly the Have u ever video, for some reason, hearing her sing that song got me in that moment  :'(

At the end of the video, you just feel that you want her to WIN again. I feel like its her moment again, it feels right, it feels fair. Glad to see Jeff in there and finally "meeting" who he is. I really really hope he goes hard for her, harder than whatever her previous managers did.
Love u Bran

!!!!! I feel like she is the most confident she has ever been. There was no affectation. Just real, grown woman shit. I love that. I love that she said that she's not taking any SHIT this time around too. I hope things work out exactly the way she wants them to.
