QuoteI like Beyonce but I cringed when I found out that was a line. Why why do some black women think comments like this are insulting to white women? The Becky part I don't care about but the "good hair" line reaks of insecurity and does nothing but further falsely portray black women as being insecure or jealous of some fucking stringy hair when that isn't the case. I've already seen other women and black men using that line to say that black women are jealous of white women's hair.

I saw one poster say Beyonce got white women salty because of this line!!?? Maybe the Becky part but why would they be mad about being told they have good hair?? It just boast the stupid notion that black women think their hair is better. Like if a white woman told her white man to go back with the black girl with the "nice ass" would we be offended...no we'd think the white chick was pressed.

And let me add if a black rapper mentioned Becky with good hair you guys would be rightfully upset. So just because a black woman said it doesn't mean the line is harmless.

Honestly, I cringed when I read that in the Lemonade thread. It's not insulting tbh. If anything it would make white women feel good and it makes Bey look insecure. Again, it explains the matted blonde wigs.

I was a bit taken aback with the "good hair" lyric.
For sure.

Good Hair to me is HEALTHY hair
:dead:
And Bey's hair is healthy I'm sure.

idk
Something is telling me that her husband referenced something about bitches with good hair or sumn and she's addressing it
I don't get insecure from that line
I think her wigs and everything are just for aesthetic purposes
Honestly think it's an inside thing...
And even if it's not..
Black ppl make the separation between good and bad hair
:plzstop:
So if anything she's connecting with black women across the us who share this sentiment

BAPHOMET.

Even if he has made a reference to that, I wish she didn't give him or "Beckys" the satisfaction. I mean, this is the same nigga who called Bey, his wife a "high yellow broad" ch... so he was trash from the jump

Like bitch, you're Beyonce.
That good hair comment kinda set shit back a bit. She took steps forward with "Formation" but when I read that "Becky with good hair" mess... Idk guys. But I'm not gonna judge too much. I love this unfiltered Bey tbh. She's not as robotic.

and lets be honest, black women never reference white women as "good hair" :uhh:
Their hair is FLAT. "Good hair" is a Brazilian and Indian tea.
