I don't think she has anything left to prove, but I hope her next album is just all about music where she doesn't rely so heavily on visuals. Just really great songs and singing.

i wish brandys next project will be a fully funded visual album lol

i think the visuals make you take the album more seriously imo

beyonce hasn't had to prove herself since album 3. dc was a great launching pad, but as a solo act she had to at least have 3 successful errors to be upper echelon. especially when you look at the artists that were out in those first 3 errors. now she's already in veteran/legend status. she's not a young girl. she is what janet was around 2001 & 2004 now. the difference is she's making better moves to keep her light shinning in this climate to have a lasting career and admiration like other legends that are still praised to this day.

Sor hehe

I didn't mean YOUR musical expectations from her. She kinda already gets that from the countless Grams and critical acclaim.  :-P

I'm talking more

will her next album go #1? is she over? did (insert name) replace her? will she sell as much?

:ohwow:

FINE.

I don't think she cares. n
Pretty evident.

i think fans put more pressure on shit than anything. some of these artists truly dont give a shit about the #'s anymore but
fans swear they do  :dead:  I bet Bey is at peace and pretty damn satisfied and would be either way

send this to radio!! wtf!? dont understand!

I've never used a bey album in it's entirety. She makes good Pop music and performs better than anyone on the planet, that's where it stops for me. So this album did nothing to change that. I am, however, loving the pro-Black tea she's giving though, more prominent Black artist need to follow suit.
not even B'Day?

I loved B'DAY, it came out the Summer I started going the clubs. So many memories..

..but it hasn't aged well. Do you still listen to it?

And tbh, while I appreciate her stepping out of her comfort zone and doing something different from what she usually does, I'm not really here for this kind of music from her.

I hope her next is a 'return to roots' type thing.

tbh I need club bangers and weave swanging back. I cannot stand Beyonc? ballads, or Beyonc? pop song, sans a few exceptions like the 4 ballads, and "Sweet Dream", her LANE is B'Day, "Flawless" and fckn "Naughty Gorl".
