seeing this just makes me happy I didn't go in depth when I went on my ancestry trip cause I was really excited and wanted to tell everyone about it too, but I was afraid people would misconstrue it as me trying to give "Mixed!" so I didn't talk about it as much as I wanted, but this whole ordeal is making me see I made the right decision.

This wasn't my stance on the heritage thing.  I just thought it was annoying, overkill,  and was oversaturation. It was literally leaking into every thread u came in.  That signature doesn't even bother me.  I don't think what malcolm said or what u took from it is most people's perspective But as long as u came to a decision to tone it down, WHATEVER lolz. Honestly,  u had already even toned it down,  so no favors were done imo

The sig is fine. Actually, the whole ancestry research thing is fine. It's just that it doesn't fit into every discussion, which seemed to be happening. That was the only issue I ever had. So I'm glad that you understand that now. Maybe there should be an official thread for it up top like the picture and TV show threads.

Malcolm didn't do me any favors because I didn't feel that you looking into your heritage and so forth was annoying. People should be proud of you for doing something that is worthwhile to you as a human being and as a person. I guess I see it differently because I'm older and can see the importance of why you're doing this. It should inspire others to do it as well. Self-discovery is a good thing.

Jay, I'm only in my early 20's and I understand where you are coming from and I agree with you. Maturity has to do with your mindset.
