I mean, honestly the girls weren't expecting Rih to come and Work was a surprise smash. Nobody was really "hyped"cause Rih's never been gone that long, they were anticipating, but it wasn't capitalized on to convert it into hype

Love Adele, but I have to agree. I was a huge fan of her when I was in high school, this was WAYYYY before she got big. Like, she wasn't even mainstream at the time. Tbh I liked her much more when no one really knew her. I think the hype of all of the fame got to her.
