I definitely think they could be more diverse in their selections but this is a marvel movie.  They  aren't very out the box when it comes to these movies.  Big names for a big movie.  Chadwick being the lead is even a surprise for me.  He's had some decent roles but nothing like this.  This'll be what probably opens his career even more
