I spoke with Tory Devon Smith (Valente) on Instagram two weeks ago & he says that they're still waiting to hear from BET. 

I told him the show has potential to be the networks 'Sex and the City' with a matter of execution & he agreed.  They want BET to allow them full range and no filter.
