This SHIFT in mentality from pages 1 to 5 :dead:

I took my L nigga  :uhh:

I was presented with facts and was refreshed.
I'm not stubborn nor unable to accept truth as truth.

And my initial post wasn't even in reference to them. I didn't even finish the vid  :dead:
I was just posting a random statement about my experiences with prom.
But I'm glad to know young black women are serious about education and wanna make it

ddddd no one's saying this girl is DUMB and not going to college. fjjjjj you guys do know even the dumbest person can get admitted to a 4 year university, right?  :plzstop: So those stats really aren't impressive if they didn't walk across the stage. http://hechingerreport.org/25368-2/

I think the general consensus is that blacks typically go all out for prom, pricey outfits, foreign car rentals, etc. :uhh: but do they have just as much of that money towards their education? :uhh:

What did y'all wear to prom?

I wore a black tux and beige tie to match my date's dress

We were kinda stylin and profilin on the gorls
I wore a black tux mess.. With a black tie... And some patent leather Oxford shoes...

And my tux was European cut.. :ATLcameo:

Shitting TBH.. Oscars

BetterAngels

I just wonder what school allows some of these dresses.  At my prom, most of theses girls would NOT have been allowed in

Wait a minute... how the fuck do yall know what her grades are like?

In my day you couldn't even go to prom if your GPA wasn't up there. You couldn't go to any trips or anything if you weren't a good student passing.

oh.
in my school they didnt play that shit. and they didn't care if you failed, they had no prob'em leaving you back until you were in your twentys and they would call them SUPER SENIORS and wait until they dropped out eventually or transfer them to the GED mess down the block (the way the building was set up tried to gas the girls as if they were going to college). I had a friend that went that route.

Where I live you had to pass the state test to graduate. It didn't matter if you pass the GRADE if you didn't pass all 4 of the state test they would hold you the fuck back and not let you get that diploma or walk. This girl in my class JUST posted on facebook the other day that she finally passed her state test and I'm pretty sure she failed one or two grades prior so I know she is like 24-26 years old, but am proud she finally got her diplomas.
