I hated this and i don't think it's that hard to sing,  i just don't think usher is a great singer.  He's had nice moments here and there but he's no luther or (insert great male singer here).

I get what ur saying but I've seen and heard it done before and if ur voice is capable then its capable. Usher isn't capable IN GENERAL imo.  Maxwell is prime example of a man who  can do this. This Woman's work is a vocal christened by the lord god. There are men with very strong falsetto that could give this vocal. And honestly,  i don't think he did anything in it that was just like OMG, just a nigga singing falsetto the whole way thru.  MEH!

I agree that brandy records songs that are hard to sing or translate live.  Usher's moving mountains aint that.  He just couldn't pull it off

GHan also records a LOT of songs that would be difficult to sing live without assistance.
Especially during Afrodisiac.
You can tell that she recorded one part of the verse, stopped, recording the next part, layered. Then stopped, recorded the next piece.

That's a reason why people assumed she avoided certain teas from different eras.
They were in the same vein of Moving Mountains in terms of tight arrangements.
