But yeah someone RT'd this video of this guy the day this happened. And he was recording himself watching the news and crying. It was the oddest thing to me. I don't doubt the emotion was genuine, but how does the thought to record yourself even pop in your mind during that kinda time.

I'm seeing a lot of stuff promoting having pride in gay or queer culture over this tragedy but ...

I just can't be part of a culture of bears, thongs, wigs, idolizing muscles ... some of that stuff is nice, but it's the same thing as black ppl who explain black culture as hot sauce, watermelon, weave and KFC gift cards IMO

I really enjoy the posts breaking this down to a human level. PEOPLE lost their lives, not a bunch of gay folk.

I just hope the positive aspects of being ghey and ok with it shines through. I hope young ghey boys who aren't a stereotype don't see this fool doing the splits in a street almost naked and get confused even more because that doesn't fit them.
