I mean your comparing Usher who is in his prime NOW to Janet who was in her prime was than a decade Usher who hasn't been able to release one because of the poor reception
Where's your argument hun'
where's yours because the "poor reception" thing is a lie
Usher's singles are doing well
and his last album was only 4 yrs
Janet's was EIGHT

How are his singles "doing well"?

Ray, you're scrambling luv

I mean Good Kisser is Grammy Nominated - HIT
I Dont Mind is top 15 actually #11 - his last single before now
now No Limit is gaining spins on Urban & Rhythmic radio - CLIMBING
and Crash is gaining on Pop - CLIMBING
its doing well
the only thing crumbling is your "Usher done" narrative

b

So you shut me down

yep!

Give us some chart positions then

*WAITS*

He's shitting

NIGGA where?

#54 after a performance is shitting? Are you aware that he has the lowest position out of all the performers last night?

and "Crash" being #14 in Qatar isn't shitting either OMF
not Europe tossing him to the wolves too

fdbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

Like, I really wanna know what his definition of "shitting" is, because...

This is why you have to maintain your own sound while jumping on what's hot and fresh

I think that's the difference between him and bey. She stays current but rarely sounds cookie-cutter

And she eventually evolved as an artist beyond the hair flips and corny women empowerment anthems to new sounds.

Usher went from making what was enjoyable (not all that original) music to jumping on whatever is hot for a quick radio hit.
i agree with this. Thats why I cant fck with him anymore. He looks desperate imo. Climax was a step in the right direction
!!!!!!!

Omg!  :uhh:

He should've stayed with that "alternative" r&b wave and led it

He's dumb

"Climax" and "Good Kisser" were relatively new territory for him and he abandoned both of them to make something more watered down for radio.

It's like dipping a toe into the pool and then saying "fuck it" because it's too cold   :damselindistress:

Love Bey, but Sorry is just as radio hit trendy as No Limit
so is Hold Up she even sample Soulja Boy, but Usher cant sample Master P?
makes no sense

v

Sorry is dated. Not "trendy" at all. The point is Bey grew as an artist. Lemonade is far better than her earlier works.

You don't see anything wrong with Flush sampling Master P?  :plzstop: That's like 'Bert sampling Juvenile or Lil Wayne. Shit is stupid and deserves a lashing. Especially when the today's artists are sampling 90's R&B.

makes no sense

But she's not relying on some trendy radio hit for relevancy or obviously trying to keep up with newer artists the same way Ush' is.

There's nothing wrong with getting down with the youngins a bit, but when you're doing to fit in and follow a trend at damn near forty...
