I don't get the double standard because if this was a black comedian talking about white people OR EVEN talking about other black people, it would be funny and not offensive.

Black People were enslaved, abused and mentally brainwashed by whites for over 300 years and still are today. That's not the white journey. So if a black person wants to talk shit about a white in jokes or generally then so be it. They deserve so much more than that.

That's how I feel.  And I don't care about a double standard.  They subjugated the world for centuries, if we get a few kikis at their expense, oh well.      Our humor doesn't reflect the same ideals that keep their people oppressed, so it's not the same.

Further, a white comedian can make certain jokes about race.  But they need to stick to the self-deprecating kind, or the kind that makes it clear they're making a point about racism.  Some comedians are masters of satire.  Not a "haha Shanequa is a funny name... blks are loud."  That's not funny or interesting.   

Like I said, the key here was how everyone gasped when she said something about Mexicans.  Blacks are expendable.

The reaction to the Mexican joke made me laugh because at times I think, especially here in California, that some Mexican & Asian people think they get a pass because they're not Black.

They have this, "I may not be White, but at least I'm not Black" attitude. They'll sit right there with White folks talkin shit & kii cacklin for filth about Black people until they find out the hard way that the Whites don't use them either.

It was all fun & games when she was talking about Black folks, but when she fired shots at that sombrero they couldn't fuckin take.
