Well my parents are immigrants and they grew up in West Africa, and they are the first from each of their families to actually settle OUT of their respective countries, they've both came from higher positions of employments back home to lower paid ones here in order to make it work in England, there was a time my mum was working 3 jobs
we didn't grow up poor but we grew up mindful and grateful lol my parents especially my father never let us forget how it was for him growing up
So I guess it made my bothers and sisters all appreciative and value education
Like my older brothers have actually left London and started business in Africa and my two younger sisters are starting up ventures of their own and want to expand them back on in West Africa, and my mother when she retires is going back to open an Orphanage
So in all us appreciative I guess
