Yeah, Puerto Ricans have African in them.

Not a huge huge amount but definitely significant enough to put that afro into formation.

But his PR dad doesn't look very black. I wouldn't consider J. Lo a black Latina, she's a white Latina to me.

It's a blanket statement that every PR person has significant black ancestry.


But it's dumb debate. Just think his Afro/dark skin mess probably comes from Asian and not his Caribbean roots.

Never said that Puerto Ricans are Afro-Latinos by default.

Re-read what I said hun. And certain traits can skip generations as well.

Hurt asked if PR's have Black/African in them, and my answer is that they most certainly do. They're not completely white. They are a mix of European, Indian, and Black.

With varying amounts of each group thrown in depending on the person.

The average amount of Black blood in a Puerto Rican based on this study is 22%. Which is far from insignificant.
