Usually when you really love your ex, y'all still communicate in some manner until one moves on and cuts the other off. He went to see her on Chicago which I thought was weird. It's hard to tell a ex your dating so that usually doesn't come out until that person has officially moved on.

That's why it's best to just move on with little to no contact.
