And Gen', how do YOU think we should go about decreasing "black on black" crime? You know of any local organizations or groups in your city/neighborhood looking to make things better?

The same effort that's being put into black lives matter movement should have the same effort as building up and supporting black owned stores and more effort into lowering crimes in our neighborhoods by speaking out when killers kill people. There you go.


& I'm actually helping with a "gloves up, guns down" program to help lower gang violence.

I wasn't trying to really answer his question, per se. Just a thought.
But to me, for the cops to start valuing AA lives, the PEOPLE have to start valuing AA lives in general... cause with or without the uniform, it's still the same person doing the shooting. They target black lives on duty and clearly have that same mind-set OFF-duty. Makes me wonder how many more people who are not cops are feeling/thinking this way... and if they were given a gun and freedom to shoot, what would they do with it? It's disturbing.

black lives matter is ONE organization of many across the country, just because you don't the other ones does not mean the work isn't being done.

IDK why it's so hard to grasp that these are two separate issues that don't need to be conflated to improve things.
