Somone tell me if i'm understanding this wrong; the label wouldn't bankroll the next album - probably because Two Eleven underperformed. Brandy cut ties with Breyon and Chameleon - unbeknwonst to him and he's been contractually blocking her from doing things outside of music, or at least trying too?

March 30, so it will mark 4 months at the end of July. Mmmm..... hopefully around September this will be resolved for good.

Sounds to me like she signed a 360 deal.

She wanted them to fund MULTIPLE albums, but they didn't live up to their budget with the very first one. She was possibly getting more money for acting/Broadway and Breyon wanted a piece of that pie. Which is fine IF he lived up to his expectation of funding 2/11 better as well as future albums.

Bran prob said.... I'm not gonna be cutting you a check for outside endeavors, when the roll out for 2/11 was shit. As well as lack of hope for a future album.

So he's asking her to cut acting checks or don't record/release music.

You guys might not like my feelings toward this, but I could care less if Brandy puts out another label/studio album.

The music climate is shit! Trying to do a traditional album/roll out isn't worth the hassle or return. She's a veteran and I'de prefer if she focuses more on solidifying her legacy rather than adding to it.

Drop Eps/vids soely for the fans and start the next leg of her empire. Fans are ungrateful at times, the general public is fickle, business is shady. What's the point and what is she going to prove.

Its not a 360 deal. If it was, they would WANT her to pursue other ventures cause they will get a cut from Broadway, endorsements, Zoe Moon, tours, etc. Seems to me like the deal only allows them to make a bulk of the money from albums and touring perhaps. Brandy did say they are trying to get her to sign a horrible deal with the major label Breyon is now with. Thats the 360 and she wants no parts of it. She aint dumb.

I dont think she necessarily signed a bad deal. She just signed it with bad people who really dont have her best interests at heart.

I mean when you're a vet falling off and you sign with these upstart labels. They NEED you to carry the label, the future of it depends on their belief you can make a monster.

she has been in the business for far too long and has had great mentors/support systems in her wonderful career..
this is disgusting and she shouldve known way better.
