i feel like everyone has to do that at some point.

Nah. We all have to realize that there will be things about someone that we don't always like, but "settling" suggests something else entirely, and I'm never doing it lol
Shit, at that point...if you are sane, have a 401K & a clean bill of health...I'll take it. I don't have to be in love or even find you cute.  :kii:

But why?
For the comforting "thought" that you wont die alone?

Im trying to understand

right, like who are you trying to impress?

n

I'm never doing it

I can't imagine being part of one of those couples you see around and you can tell they don't like one another. No eye contact, no emotion, nothing. They are like roommates. Keep it. I'll stay picky

always sad to see

Affection and PDA is one thing, and I can see people not always being into that, but u can literally SEE the awkwardness and low level chemistry in others.

Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In

It seems as the older I get, the more content I am with being alone and single. I refuse to settle. I did it once in my 20's and it turned out to be a disaster. Never again. I'll rather wait for the right one to come along and enjoy living my life. I live alone, have a very good job, and putting my career front and center. And get to go out drinking whenever I want. Hehe
I am scarred, so fucking scarred
These are the scars of me
The very fucking scars of me
This is my tragic heart
My tragic heart

No, I'd rather just be alone.

I think I love being in my own company too much actually.

;

Even if you're in your late 40's, early 50's and still haven't found what you are looking for?

Shit, at that point...if you are sane, have a 401K & a clean bill of health...I'll take it. I don't have to be in love or even find you cute.  :kii:

I'm okay with being alone now (in fact I prefer it @ this age) but when I enter that age bracket I can't imagine still being alone.

!!! Your priorities change as you get older. It could even be a open relationship as long as they come home to me.  :'(

Definitely not. There have been some close calls though. But when I stand back and realize the picture was blurred, too close to read the words but as I stand back and start to see much better, I just hit the block button.
