Seems fake and I think she's smarter than signing a multi-album deal when she knows that shit can go left.

I think it's smart. And I'm sure if the album does well, the contract will be renegotiated for future albums. Ciara needs the machine of a big label to support her.

I don't think it's fake. Why would she announce a label change? It's just a label. I think some of you rely to much on a label. If an artist isn't going to sell, they just won't--regardless of the label they are on. It is the artist that choses their direction and creative process for each project. If it the general public thinks it sucks it's probably because the artist does--at that moment.
